How to Obtain Nevada Birth Certificates
Statewide vital records registration for Nevada began in 1911. Though some records exist prior to that time, they are kept within the county recorder's office rather than at the Section of Vital Statistics. There is no statewide index for records prior to 1911, and the index beginning in 1911 has restricted access.
